She cries, like, ALL THE TIME throughout this entire series and today’s ballet class at the Hannah Greene School in San Lorenzo, California is no different. But first, can’t help but point out some very bad editing on the author’s part. In Leah’s second person limited narrative, she is constantly referring to her teacher in this chapter as Miss Greene except, Leah tells us, her teacher wears a wedding ring and gave up a promising career as a professional dancer to move all the way across the country years ago, before Leah was even born, with her artichoke farmer husband to settle here and raise her own family.
